PVA 2002 Candidate Information
~ State House District 37 ~
This page contains candidate information about the candidates for State House District 37.
Highlights from this race:
There is no "Pro-Animal Pick" for this race.
The Republican candidate in this race - Lauri Clapp - served as a state representative
during the 2002 state legislative session. Her
2002 scorecard, which also
contains her pre-2002 animal-related voting scores, is now available. As
you can see, she has had an anti-animal voting record, and so she gets
a "Paws Down" from PVA.
The following candidates did not respond to our questionnaire: John R. Phillips
(Democratic Party) and Lauri Clapp (Republican Party). The Libertarian Party candidate - Bennett
Rutledge - joined the race after our deadline for printing questionnaire responses, so we did
not send him a questionnaire.
