The Republican candidate in this race - Nancy Spence - served as a state representative
during the 2002 state legislative session. Her
2002 scorecard, which also
contains her pre-2002 animal-related voting scores, is now available. As
you can see, she has had an anti-animal voting record, and so she gets
a "Paws Down" from PVA.
Representative Spence did not respond to our questionnaire. Her opponent - Kelan Brady
(Democratic Party) - joined the race as a replacement candidate after our deadline for printing
questionnaire responses, so we did not send him a questionnaire.
